CarbonAided climate change projects

Offset Ethically with CarbonAided

Putting the D into CDM
Acquiring Carbon Finance for Development Projects
A workshop in London on 15th June 2009 for those thinking about participating in carbon projects with social benefits to help understand them better.
CarbonAided works in partnership with charities, development organisations and low carbon innovators to develop projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help the world's poor to adapt to the consequences of climate change.

Our GHG reduction projects are independently verified as being compliant with respected standards for developing offset projects (Clean Development Mechanism, Joint Implementation, Gold Standard, Voluntary Carbon Standard). At a minimum, this means that our projects create real and permanent savings in GHG emissions that are additional to "business-as-usual".

We develop two types of offset projects:

We also raise funds for and donate 10% of our profits to projects managed by charities including Christian Aid and Practical Action that help the most vulnerable people in the world adapt to the consequences of climate change.
